To get the best results and minimise the risks of side effects, it is important to follow the appropriate aftercare.
In order to minimise the risk of side effects please:
- Remain upright for at least four hours after treatment
- Avoid putting pressure or rubbing the treatment area for 24-48 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment
- Avoid heat-related activities, i.e. sauna, steam rooms, hot baths, etc
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treat
In order to prevent any infection please:
- Avoid applying any make up for at least 24 hours after treatment
- Avoid touching the treatment area for at least 24 hours.
It is also important to book a review appointment two weeks post-treatment, to assess response and allow opportunity for feedback or concerns.
