Unfortunately, topical numbing creams are not safe nor effective when doing Laser Hair Removal. The sensation you feel in treatment is not felt on the skin, but in the follicle of the hair. Unfortunately numbing cream cannot penetrate deep enough to minimise discomfort that may be felt at the follicle. Please ensure that no occlusive creams are present on the treatment areas when undergoing laser hair removal treatments.
One of the benefits of Laser Hair Removal is that the treatment is virtually painless, especially compared to waxing. Each pulse lasts less than a second, producing a slight tingling feeling. In particularly sensitive areas, such as the upper lip, it may feel like a rubber band snap on the skin. We use an advanced cooling machine in conjunction with our laser device to reduce the heat sensation on the skin and minimise any discomfort.
Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growth cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment.
Depending on the hair, skin type, and body area being treated, you will require treatments at 4-6 weeks intervals. For the facial area, treatments can be done at 2-4 week intervals. Each part of the facial and body area has a different growing cycle, so hair reduction will vary depending on what stage your follicles are in at the time of the treatment.
After each treatment hair is reduced hence it is important to complete the course of 10 treatments and at consistent intervals for best results. We recommend a series of 8-10 treatments and maintenance treatments every 2-3 months for permanent hair reduction.

Cosmetic Aesthetics
Polynucleotides are suitable for individuals concerned with fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture and tone, dryness and lack of elasticity, scars or other imperfections, and those seeking overall skin rejuvenation.
Polynucleotide treatments are not suitable for everyone. Certain conditions serve as contraindications for Polynucleotide injections such as:
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Not recommended due to lack of research in these groups.
Active Skin Infections: Patients with active infections or inflammation near the treatment area should avoid the procedure.
History of Severe Allergies or Anaphylaxis: Those with a history of severe allergies should discuss potential risks with their doctor.
If you have any concerns, we advise you to seek medical advice prior to your treatment.
Yes they are. Our Cosmetic Injectors undergo training with both male and female models, and are skilled at working with both male and female clients to provide tailored results for each individual.
Polynucleotides are derived from Trout DNA, hence, individuals who are allergic to fish or seafood are advised not to try the treatment.
The most common side effects occur within 24 hours post-treatment. These include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness.
Immediate side effects usually disappear within days. However, depending on the type of dermal filler used, it can take a few weeks. At Laser Clinics, we strongly encourage a review appointment which is complimentary 2 weeks post-treatment to discuss your treatment results.
Cosmetic Injectables are a great way to enhance masculine facial features, such as Dermal Fillers for a stronger jawline.
Yes. some injectables influence the movement of the facial muscles and reduces the contractions to prevent future lines from forming earlier than they might naturally. It is one the most effective anti-ageing treatments that we offer at Laser Clinics UK.

Avoid international travel for 2 weeks post-treatment. The prolonged cabin air pressure can cause unpredictable swelling and bruising.
You can, but it's charged at the cost of 1ml. This is common in the industry as the product comes in 1ml syringes and for safety reasons, any remaining product must be discarded.
Your safety is our main concern and for this reason, we do not treat clients who are pregnant. We advise against all cosmetic injectable treatments whilst pregnant simply out of precaution and due to the lack of information available on cosmetic injectable treatment effects on the fetus.
We do not treat clients under the age of 18 for Cosmetic Injectables. We do offer a wide range of Skin Treatments suitable for this age group. Book a complimentary consultation with one of our highly-skilled Skin Therapists to get started.

Everyone experiences pain differently and has different pain thresholds. However, when it comes to Cosmetic Injectables, most clients compare the sensation of the face injections to a quick prick. There is a slight pinching feeling, but it only lasts for a few seconds.
At Laser Clinics UK, cosmetic injectable treatments require no anaesthetic. However, a topical anaesthetic can be used if needed. Please obtain this from your Pharmacist prior to your treatment.

No. While Dermal Fillers do stretch the skin slightly to fill into the tissues, it does not have a lasting effect on the skin itself. Your skin will return to its original state when the product metabolises.
Please avoid vigorous physical activity and alcohol intake for 24 hours prior to the treatment. This will reduce the risk of bruising. Avoid Aspirin, Vitamin E, and blood thinners that are not indicated for a medical condition such as fish oil for one week before the treatment.
It is recommended to repeat the treatment before the muscle movements return to normal which is typically 3-4 months. This way there is an overlap in results and a continued softening effect.
Cosmetic treatments begin to work 2-3 days after the treatment and reach their full effect within 7-14 days. The effects can typically last for up to 3-4 months depending on the individual.
Dermal Fillers can last up to three to six months and in some cases longer depending on how fast the body metabolises the product. Lips are a high activity area as we use them all the time, this can impact how long the results will last.
Results can last up to 18 months depending on the individual.
To determine the correct dosage, we advise you to book in for a complimentary consultation with one of our experienced Cosmetic Injectors at your nearest Laser Clinics UK location.
A thorough consultation with one of our healthcare professionals is required to determine the best treatment option that is tailored to your individual needs. Prices will be discussed as part of the consultation process.
Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.
Results from the HArmonyCa® treatment are both immediate and gradual, providing a subtle and natural-looking effect.
Lip filler results are visible straight away. You may experience some swelling and bruise for 1-5 days, however, this is completely normal after a cosmetic injectable treatment. During this time, an ice pack should be applied to the area to reduce any swelling/bruising.
Lumps and bumps are also common after having your lips treated which is why it’s important to ensure you attend your complimentary review. A complimentary post-treatment review is available to all injectable clients. It not only gives the Injector an opportunity to check in with the results of the treatment, but it also gives you, the client, an opportunity to ask any lingering queries you may have.

HArmonyCa® is a hybrid dermal filler. This hybrid dermal filler combines the benefits of traditional dermal fillers, which provide immediate visible volumisation and lift, alongside the calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa), which aids in collagen production and skin tightening.
Profhilo® is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) on the market.
It is specially formulated for people whose skin lacks volume and elasticity.
As with any Laser Clinics UK treatment, our Dermal Filler Cosmetic Injectable treatments come with important after-care recommendations in order to achieve the best results. Our experienced medical team shares their post-treatment advice:
· Remain upright for four hours following your treatment and avoid lying down while the product settles into place.
· Avoid any Skin Treatments like Microdermabrasion, Skin Needling, or Dermal Rolling for two weeks after Dermal Fillers
· Avoid active skincare products such as Retinol for at least 5 days after the treatment.
· Avoid alcohol and painkillers such as ibuprofen before and after treatment as they tend to thin the blood and can make you prone to bruising.
· Do not exercise for 24 hours after your treatment and avoid any exercise that involves inverted poses (e.g. yoga, pilates, barre, etc) and provoke sweating as the Dermal Filler is settling into place.
· Avoid exposing your skin to excessive heat or cold including saunas, spas, steam rooms, hot yoga, ice baths, or skiing. Changes in temperature can lead you to touch or rub your face more which can put unwanted pressure on the treated muscles, risking dispersion of the protein into unwanted areas.
Avoid massaging or applying pressure to the face which can affect how the product settles in a particular area. When cleansing the skin and applying skincare and makeup, only use gentle strokes.
While both injectables use the same component, hyaluronic acid, Profhilo® and Dermal Filler work very differently.
Dermal filler is injected to enhance a specific area such as the lips and cheeks, and it does not typically migrate to the surrounding skin. In this way, it augments your natural facial structure to produce more angular cheekbones or plumper lips.
Profhilo® works very differently because it is made of 100% hyaluronic acid, while dermal fillers have other components. Because Profhilo® is made of a completely natural skin substance, it blends into the skin seamlessly and distributes itself evenly. The treatment also helps to retain moisture levels in the skin while boosting the production of collagen and elastin, both essential skin proteins, which help refresh the skin from the inside out.
Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol for 24 hours as this increases the risk of bruising. Aspirin and Vitamin E should not be taken one week before the treatment.
During your consultation, our team will work closely with you to understand your aesthetic aspirations, discuss your medical history, assess your suitability, explain all the appropriate treatment options and develop a customised treatment plan. We’ll take you through each stage, providing clear guidance and support. We will also discuss other options available to you including our variety of skin and dermal therapies.
Profhilo® is commonly used for the face but can also be used to treat the neck and hands.
All cosmetic injectable treatments are carried out by qualified Healthcare Practitioners. They have also undergone specific training in cosmetic injectables such as having in-depth anatomy knowledge, facial assessment and managing adverse events. Rest assured that regardless of which LCUK clinic you attend, you will be treated and cared for by healthcare practitioners.
Profhilo® is recommended for adults who feel their skin has begun to sag, lose overall volume and fullness. Profhilo® can be used to refresh and rejuvenate skin.
Profhilo® is not suitable for those who are wanting to replace lost volume in specific parts of their face, or those who want to alter the shape of their face or features.
Cosmetic Injectable treatments will not remove masculine facial features, it all depends on what look you are aiming for. We have Cosmetic Injectable treatments that can help you enhance the masculine aesthetic, such as Dermal Fillers for a stronger jawline. Cosmetic Injectable treatments can also be performed to provide a natural result, helping you avoid an overdone or artificial look.

Combine your treatments with LED Light Therapy and Skinstitut® cosmedical skin care.
The LED skin treatment works on a cellular level to fight active acne, redness and leaves your skin energised and youthful. The deep penetrating LED lights are designed to be soothing, target deep into skin cells to heighten their internal functions, photo-stimulate dermal blood flow and induce faster healing, reduce acne and redness.
Our Skinstitut® cosmedical skin care is the latest and most effective category of skin products that can be purchased without a prescription. Often described as an advanced cosmeceutical, Cosmedicals have the ability to target not only present and past skin damage, but provide the skin with some preventative capacity for the future. Based on a medically and clinically proven blend of AHA, Retinoids, Vitamin C, Peptides, Antioxidants and SPF technology, cosmedicals are not only reliant on a potent percentage of active ingredients but utilise carefully formulated base formulas, encapsulation technology, and penetration enhancers to deliver benefits as deep as possible into the skin.
Laser Skin Tightening is designed to stimulate dermal collagen production and help with the regeneration of damaged skin cells. Skin tightening works on both Type 1 + Type 3 collagen which is a fibrous protein, found in the extra cellular matrix (Dermis). This treatment involves heat energy being delivered into the skin to penetrate deep down whilst protecting the upper visible layers and keeping them intact. It does this by deep thermal effect within the dermis causing collagen contracture and denaturation. This will then induce growth factors and stimulate new collagen synthesis which will then replace the old collagen with new fibres that are more compact and organized to give a less wrinkled appearance. Results are seen 3 months post treatments.
Typically, treatments take between 15 to 20 minutes depending on the type of LED light.
You will expect to see an improvement after your first treatment. The pigmented area will gradually reduce and after completing treatment course, you will expect to see at least a 70-80% reduction for the treated pigmentation.
Each procedure is different – our less invasive treatments (such as Microdermabrasion and superficial Cosmedical Grade Peels) give more immediate results, and our more invasive treatments (such as deeper Cosmedical Grade Peels) may take up to a month to see full results. These treatments, however, have more lasting impacts than our less invasive treatments. At your complimentary skin consultation, your Skin Therapist will advise on a personalised treatment plan.
You can expect an immediate result and improvements in your skin tone and texture. This is the perfect treatment before an event as it requires no downtime.
Vascular Lesion Treatments are effective and improvements can frequently be seen after the first treatment. The number of required treatments will vary depending on the type and location of the vascular lesion. Broken capillaries on the facial area (usually on the cheeks, chin and around the nose), will typically require 2-4 treatments done 4-8 weeks apart.
For Laser Flushing, we recommend 4-6 treatments done at monthly intervals for optimum results. We treat angiomas in the clinic and it usually requires one treatment. Our experienced Skin Therapists will assess the vascular lesion and provide a tailored treatment plan suitable to your goals.
Depending on the skin type and concern, the number and strength of the Cosmetic Grade Peel treatment varies between individuals. Your experienced Therapist will assess your skin to provide a tailored treatment plan. For general maintenance, we recommend this treatment to be performed at monthly intervals.
Treatments required will depend on the individual and their treatment goals. Not everyone experiences visible peeling, depending on your skin’s condition at the time of treatment. Don’t worry though! You’ll still see improvements in skin texture and a more even complexion due to the active ingredients that boost cell turnover and reduce discoloration.
We require medical clearance for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals prior to proceeding with the treatment.
No. Exo Booster contains exosomes which are secreted by cells (they are not cells). Therefore, they cannot replicate or transform because they are cell-free and DNA free.
When applied topically to the skin on its own there is no pain. If Exo Booster is used in conjunction with other treatment modalities, some slight discomfort may occur (primarily from the other device).
We will require medical clearance for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals prior to proceeding with the treatment.

There is minimal downtime with this treatment and side effects may include redness, swelling and sensitivity. These side effects are temporary and will subside with correct aftercare. You can expect peeling and darkening of the treated pigmentation around 3-5 days after the treatment. This usually lasts 7-10 days. We recommend following the aftercare procedures provided by your Skin Therapist.
Depending on how Exo Booster is administered it often has minimal to no downtime. Some treatments that Exo Booster are combined with may have side effects of heat, bruising, swelling and redness. This is temporary and relieves within a few days. Other less common side effects may include tenderness, raised bumps under the skin, allergic reaction, itching or a mild rash.
There is no downtime with our LED Light Therapy treatments.
There is no downtime with this treatment. You may experience some redness and swelling on the treated area, but this completely normal and usually subsides within 3-5 days. You may continue to have a warm sensation on the treated areas for 24-48 hours after your treatment. We advise you to follow the correct aftercare directions as provided by your Skin Therapist.
On the day of treatment, you’ll need to relax and avoid any activities since the Day One Peeling Masque stays on for several hours. After removal, your skin may appear red and feel warm, sensitive, and tight. Redness usually fades within a few hours or days, while tightness and sensitivity may last until your skin starts to flake around day 3. Flaking can continue for 7-10 days, and once it ends, your skin will adjust, and the results will begin to show. By day 15, your skin should feel more comfortable and less dry or sensitive.
It depends on the strength of the Cosmetic Grade Peel and the individual skin type. For our AHA Enzymatic Peel, there is no downtime, and you may wear light mineral makeup directly after the treatment. For our Peel Accelerator and Ageless Peel treatments, there is minimal downtime and your Therapist will recommend you consistently reapply Skinstitut® Repair Balm for 3-5 days to aid the healing process. For the Purple Peel, there is downtime and you will experience redness, slight swelling, and flaking for at least 7-14 days. We recommend the LED Yellow Light Therapy together with the treatment to reduce the inflammation and accelerates wound healing.
There is minimal downtime with this treatment. You may experience some redness, swelling, and slight bruising on the treated areas. This is completely normal and will usually subside within 3-5 days when you follow the recommended aftercare directions. Scabbing may occur for treated angiomas and this will usually appear 5-7 days after the treatment.
No. In some circumstances, you may not experience visible peeling. This depends on your skin's condition at the time and/or the strength of the peel. You will still experience skin texture improvement due to the accelerated cell turnover rate the Cosmetic Grade Peel treatments produce.
No – this treatment is not effective for individuals with blue or green spider veins. Our treatment is suitable for red and purple spider veins. We recommend you seek medical advice from a vein specialist.
Many clients report seeing instantly visible improvements in skin tone or texture after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer after the first treatment. As you have additional Hydrafacial treatments the result will last for longer each time. We recommend one treatment per month for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued Hydrafacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
Each Hydrojelly mask contains four common ingredients:
Algae hydrates the skin and increases skin's moisture retention capabilities
Organic white rice flour cleanses, exfoliates and conditions the skin
Organic wholegrain oat flour soothes and helps alleviate skin irritation
Organic white willow bark powder tones and reduces inflammation and provides relief from irritation
This treatment can be performed on most areas of the face and upper body with the exception of the head. The most common treatment areas include the face and decolletage.
Cosmetic Grade Peels can be performed on most parts of the body except the pubic and head area. The most common treatment areas are the face, back, chest and buttocks.

At Laser Clinics, we have a number of treatments that can help improve the tone, texture, and size of scars. It is important to know that often scars are permanent and treating them can be a very long journey. Factors that can impact our therapists' ability to improve a scar can be the age, size, colour, and texture of the affected skin.
Our highly trained therapists are able to tailor a treatment plan for you and your scars in a one-on-one complimentary consultation. During your skin assessment, your therapist will be able to assess the scar and be able to diagnose a treatment plan for you.
Please note: When treating surgical or fresh scars it is advised to have clearance from your medical professional that it is safe to treat the scar as there is often a required waiting period to ensure safe treatment.
Exo Booster contains exosomes derived from Lactobacillus bacteria. These exosomes are produced through a plant‑based fermentation process using a strain that naturally exists in cabbage. Because the entire process is plant‑based, the exosomes are vegan-friendly.
We offer crystal-free Diamond Microdermabrasion at our clinics. This type of Microdermabrasion is a superior technology, non-irritating, and safe for all skin types. For optimum hygiene, Diamond-encrusted tips are disposed of after every individual use.
Each person’s skin is different – so your response will vary, but the majority of our skin treatments require no downtime. Your Skin Therapist will take you through a post-treatment care regime that will fast-track your results.
Exo Booster can be used with any other skincare products. Just make sure to follow the aftercare instructions for the specific treatment you've had.
Results from the Exo Booster will be noticed within a few days and skin will continue to improve over a period of 28 days. For the best and most lasting effects, we recommend a series of 3 treatments, as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
The Melanopro Peel is ideal for the face. We can also treat the neck and décolletage area for an additional cost, but keep in mind that the Day One Peeling Masque stays on for several hours. It’s creamy and doesn’t dry, so avoid covering the treated area with clothing.
Vascular Lesions are more prominent on individuals with light to medium skin tones and are suitable for individuals with a Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin tone. For facial redness, Laser Flushing is suitable for individuals with fair to light skin tones (Fitzpatrick 1-2).
The Melanopro Peel System is only effective when combined with the skin-brightening actives in the homecare products. These products are a crucial part of your treatment plan, and skipping them will affect the results. For the best outcome, we recommend using them as directed.
The treated vascular lesion will not return if you follow the recommended aftercare directions and correctly maintain the treatment area. Vascular lesions such as broken capillaries and angiomas can appear as you age so maintenance treatments are recommended. For facial redness, you will expect to see significant improvements after completing the course of Laser Flushing treatments. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 2-3 months to maintain results.
This will depend on the type of peel used, the condition of the skin, medication was taken and general health and well-being. Certain medications and health issues may be a contradiction to a chemical peel as they can increase adverse side effects. Redness, inflammation, and mild to moderate peeling is usual for 1 – 5 days post peel. The stronger the peel, the more intense the redness, peeling, and downtime.
Yes. Skin Needling promotes the production of collagen and it's this collagen production that builds the tissue within the stretch marks back up. The result is that the stretch mark and acne scarring indentation is reduced and so does the colour of these scars, in some cases making them disappear completely.
We treat all areas of the body including; the face, neck, back, breasts, decolletage, hips, stomach, and hands.

The UK aesthetics and cosmetic surgery industry is estimated to be worth £3.6 billion, with non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including fillers and injectables (offered by Laser Clinics UK), accounting for 9 out of 10 procedures.
We see the UK market as around 5 years behind the Australian one, where laser hair removal is now the norm and waxing is increasingly uncommon.
