We recommend a series of treatments two to four weeks apart for optimum results. The Hydrafacial is perfect to prep you for your next special event, we recommend having your treatment seven days out.
Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last five to seven days or even longer. One treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
Avoid having an Hydrafacial four weeks before and four weeks after a Cosmetic Grade Peel treatment.
Avoid having an Hydrafacial two weeks before and after Cosmetic Injectable treatments in the treatment area.
Avoid having an Hydrafacial two weeks before and two weeks after other Skin Treatments such as Skin Needling, Max RF, Skin Resurfacing treatments, and Laser or IPL Skin Treatments.
Days 1–5
Keep skin cool: avoid hot showers, saunas, and exercise for 24–48 hrs.
Cleanse AM + PM with Skinstitut Gentle Cleanser.
Apply Skinstitut Rejuvenate 15 after cleansing.
Apply Skinstitut Laser Aid or Skinstitut Repair Balm 2–3 times daily.
Apply SPF daily:
Skinstitut Age Defence SPF 50+, Face the Day SPF 50+.
Reapply when outdoors.
Avoid active ingredients (AHAs, retinol, vitamin C).
From Day 6
Reintroduce actives if skin has settled.
From Day 7
Resume gentle exfoliation.
* Even Blend: For clients with Fitzpatrick 3+, post-treatment pigmentation risk can be reduced with Even Blend Serum. It is highly recommended to begin application 2 weeks prior to treatment, and it can be reintroduced 5 days post-treatment to help calm melanin activity.

Before your treatment
2 weeks prior to treatment:
• No Cosmetic Injectable treatments
• Avoid excess direct sun exposure
• No waxing or Laser Hair Removal/IPL treatments on the face
1 week prior to treatment:
• No depilatory use on face
3 days prior to treatment:
• Stop using active ingredients on the skin
• No Chemical Peel treatments
After your treatment
2 weeks post-treatment:
• Protect your skin from any excessive sun exposure and use SPF
• No exfoliating treatment, waxing, and using depilatories
1-week post-treatment
• No depilatory use on the face
Immediately post-treatment
• Avoid any excessive heat (saunas, hot showers etc.)
• Allow your skin to go make-up free if possible
For optimum results, we recommend a minimum of 6 treatments at fortnightly or monthly intervals. Maintenance treatments will be required to upkeep results.
